About

piper | poet is a New York gallery for post-war and contemporary art at 458 West Broadway in SoHo, with a long-standing focus on Keith Haring and the subway drawings.

The gallery was founded by Donald Wood‑Smith, a prominent gallerist, dealer and scholar with more than twenty-five years in the post-war and contemporary field. He came of age at the Allan Stone Gallery under Allan Stone, whose eye for de Kooning, Kline, Chamberlain and Cornell still informs the program.
