Campbell La Pun

Campbell La Pun was born in New Zealand in 1983, grew up in Australia and lives and works in Tokyo. He holds a BA in media arts from RMIT University in Melbourne. Working with hand-cut stencils, spray paint and acrylics on wood and canvas, he layers imagery drawn from pop art, street culture, fashion and global advertising, setting Eastern and Western references against one another. He has exhibited across four continents and has produced cover artwork for Dan's Papers in New York.
