Clara Hallencreutz

Clara Hallencreutz was born in 1985 and lives and works in Stockholm. She completed a Bachelor of Photography at Griffith University's Queensland College of Art in Brisbane in 2009 and initially specialised in commercial photography. Her conceptual photographs picture small-scale installations of everyday objects, painted in a pop palette and reshaped through colour, form and perspective, with references to surrealism and geometric abstraction. Works are printed on crystal photo paper and mounted between plexiglass and aluminium in limited editions. She has exhibited in Sweden, Australia, China, the United Kingdom, France and the United States.
